She is known in Sunshine school as the Murga maker.
a girl came up with that nickname from the word sandwich maker. as a sandwich maker twist and makes bread a sandwich, that teacher makes the students bodies into a murga sandwich.
the teacher was a young unmarried lady of about 26. she mainly wore silky shalwar kameez, like the one they wear in Bangladesh. she was from Bangladesh. she had a dusky complexion and a very stern look. she only taught maths to A-level girls. she always carried a stick with her, which was ready to use on the buttockses when girls showed any resistance to becoming murga. all offences were punished as murga

not paying attention during class
not able to answer the question

she brought variations in murga by giving murga, in front of class, back of class, outside the class, murga in the hallway, murga on desk, murga in a junior class and murga in the playground.
girls considered murga on the desk and murga in a junior class to be the most humiliating. you cannot even ask for a pencil during class otherwise you'll be made murga.
the Murga Maker did not like giving murga to one student alone. she likes giving in couples or groups. whenever a girl was caught talking, she used to make that girl and the one who she was talking to murga on the desk, although it was no fault of the other one, but she always gave as a couple, on the same desk. if the girl were not sitting together she would change their seats and make them murga on the same double desks.
whenever there was one girl who did not do her homework, she would not punish her straight away, she would write her name down and do nothing. then the next day when another girl did something wrong, she would either punish both, or write down her name as well, depends on her mood. then when she would get 4 to 5 she would punish them the way she liked. at one time she felt like punishing the whole class together, so she had stopped punishing and instead started wrting names. she was waiting for the time when everyone in the class had their names written. but a month had passed and still 3 girls were left who were yet INNOCENT. there were 5 girls who had committed offences twice. so one day she said to hell with it and told the whole class to make a line. the girls which were inncoent were told that they are getting advance punishment and that they will be left alone when they do a commit an offence.
the whole class was led to the playground and made murga. all 36 girl of class 12. class 7 girls were having their PE period so it was extra humiliating.
once a month she takes 5 to 6 girls to class five and makes them murga in front of that class.
Murga at the back is no porblem. she makes girl murga at the back of the class when she is not in the mood.
She loves making girls murga which made her a nightmare at the SUnshine school.

The Murga in You (Punishment Story)- Chapter 1
Preeti Shenoy was really satisfied today. so much so that her family was surprised how jolly she sounded and was acting today.
the reason for her satisfaction was because she was feeling in control. all her life she had never felt under control. her parents decided what she would do, when she would sleep, when she would study, what time she could watch tv, which friends she could go to, and when she should return. when the time came for her to select her subjects that was also selected by her parents.
she wasnt given any choice. and when the time came for her marriage that was selected by her parents too. now she thought she would have some control but again she got a husband so controlling that now she couldnt even wear clothes of her own choice. her husband decided that.
her husband didnt allow her to do any job, except for teaching, in an all girls school only. she didnt like teaching so she had stayed at her home for 5 years, but now she had felt she should do something. so she started teaching science at Sunshine school for girls. the school was an only girls school from class 5 to A-levels.
Preeti taught to class 7, 8 and 9.
the reason for her satisfaction was because today she had made 3 girls murga of class 9. yes of class 9, for a full 20 minutes. they had become murgas without apologizing or protests. the moment those girls sat as murgas, she could not believe herself. she felt she was in control of those murga bodies.
for 20 mintues she could not teach and was constantly walking around the murgis to make sure they were doing it properly and holding their ears properly. one murgi was moving a lot, so she also told her to remain rock solid, butt up or down doesnt matter.
2 girls had their butts in mid air, and one had her butt held high. after 10 minutes she brought it very low, almost kissing the floor. the uniform was shalwar kameez so the kameez was blocking the view of the butt, so preeti told her to keep it in mid air also.
she was feeling such in control that she wanted to take all the girls of the class to the ground and make them murga, but she thought maybe not now, but some other day.
she was really satisfied with what she had done today. she was really looking forward to go to school tomorrow and thinking of excuses she could make murga of the whole class.
she woke up early because of excitement. she prepared in a hurry and left her home after doing all her obligations. on the way, she got a call from her colleague, "We got trouble."

There was a research done by a professor at the University of Delhi. she conduced a research on the traditional punishments which are given in India and which are dying out now, including Murga and uthak baithak.
she did a research and found out how ear holding punishments are good for the brain.
how the punishments made students nervous and embarassed which improved their grades in school.
by keeping overall considerations she concluded that Murga punishment is a very good punishment which should be very much given in schools.
keeping this research into view, the education minister passed a bill in the national Assembly and regulated the use of Murga and Uthak baithak so it is regularly rendered in schools.
the Law proved to be a havoc for sudents as they started getting murga and uthak baithak for minor offences as small as looking away in the window and not looking at the board while teacher was explaining something. all in the name of improving brain activity.

it was first time experience for some, and for some they had only experience while they were 6 or 7 years old. now experiencing it again at the age of 16 and 17 was a hell of a experience.
